Our service user Josh has been playing regular Mencap football at Greenbank Academy and was very proud to be presented with a winner’s medal after his most recent game. Well done Josh!
As well as playing football, Josh has been enjoying a number of other activities too including Zumba, Circuit Training and Gardening.
Mencap & Greenbank Academy
Transition Care works closely with Mencap and Greenbank Academy to offer a broad range of experiences to our service users. Mencap Sefton is a local, independent charity that promotes equality for people with a learning disability – helping them to discover new opportunities, make new friends, and feel valued and safe in their community. Greenbank Sports Academy is a Liverpool based charity which has operated since 1983 and helps support people to achieve their potential through inclusive education, sport and leisure activities.
