Charity Mountain Climb for Flourish and Succeed
Transition Care Support Worker Rebecca takes on the challenge of Scafell Pike to help raise funds for a deserving charity.
The walk was for a charity called Flourish & Succeed CIC who are volunteers working in the local community to provide support groups, fitness classes, children’s clubs, walks and talks for people of all ages in the local community to attend as a way of supporting peoples mental health by getting people involved and to meet new people.

Rebecca and 29 other members who attend the mental health and wellbeing boxing classes at Flourish & Succeed took on the challenge of climbing the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike, standing at 978 meters tall, to raise funds for the Flourish & Succeed mental health & well being projects.
The climb was not only physically challenging but also mentally challenging. Every member of the group completed the climb up and down the mountain, raising an amazing amount of money for such a good cause.
Flourish & Succeed do amazing work in the community and the money that has been raised from the climb will be put into the community to keep all the mental health projects going, and help people in the local community to flourish and succeed.
